What is Kendal Lets?

A Local Exchange Trading Scheme (LETS) is simply an arrangement by which a group of people make their time or skills available to each other for their mutal benefit.

We do this already, of course, in an impersonal way, by working in an ordinary job for regular payment and buying goods and services from others with the cash we've earned.

Nothing wrong with that, but imagine you can share your skills, experience and time with other like minded people (members) to earn LETS. With these LETS you can then buy skills,experince and time that you don't have from other members

In days gone buy these skills, experience and time would have been sought from your extended family but in modern times things have changed and families are much further spread so, Kendal LETS may give you that extended family
